The making of NFTs is bad for our environment because of the high power consumption for the action at the blockchain and the associated Co2 emissions! I know this and thats why I promiss to plant a tree for every NFT sold. Incidentally, mintable only incurs gas fees (power consumption) when the NFT has actually been sold, that’s why I have choosen mintable.
